Project a Public Provident Fund balance using an annual contribution and an editable interest-rate assumption. PPF deposit timing matters because monthly interest eligibility depends on the scheme’s balance rules.
The result is a balance projection over the selected number of full years. Check the actual opening financial year before interpreting it as an account maturity quote.
Using this calculator’s default inputs, projected ppf balance is ₹40,68,209. This is an illustration of the stated formula, not a forecast.

Balance at year end = (opening balance + annual contribution) × (1 + annual rate). Contributions are assumed before 5 April each year.
Full-year projection, not an exact maturity-date quote. A PPF account matures 15 years after the end of its opening financial year, with eligible 5-year extensions. The model holds the entered rate constant and excludes withdrawals.
