Understand your result.
Explore an NPS accumulation and annuity-allocation scenario from your current age to a chosen retirement age. The pension figure depends on an assumed annuity payout rate.
The projected corpus, annuity purchase amount and remaining balance are separate figures. Actual exit permissions depend on the applicable subscriber and exit rules.
A worked example.
Using this calculator’s default inputs, projected retirement corpus is ₹2,67,60,733. This is an illustration of the stated formula, not a forecast.

| Current NPS balance | ₹2,00,000 |
| Monthly investment | ₹10,000 |

A common mistake to avoid
Treating the chosen annuity allocation as a universal legal minimum or the payout rate as a quote.
Questions you might have.
Does this check NPS exit eligibility?
No. Confirm your applicable PFRDA or NPS Trust rules before planning a withdrawal or annuity purchase.
Is the pension inflation-linked?
No. It is an arithmetic monthly payout estimate from the entered rate, before taxes and without a provider-specific product.

How we calculate it
Project monthly investments until retirement. Annuity allocation = corpus × chosen share. Indicative monthly pension = annuity purchase amount × annual annuity payout rate ÷ 12.
Assumptions & things to know
